Week One: The first week consisted in having activities to help us pick what career we want to look forward and teachers talking to us and giving us tips to develop our capstone. Afterwards we had to develop our essential question. I also got a head start on my weebly website.
Week Two: On week two I had the opportunity to meet up with my mentors and interview them and I also finished my project proposal, I began to write down ideas on how I can approach each paragraph in my research paper.
Week Three: This week was mostly based off just finishing my rough draft and editing it as well as working on my weebly, I had to turn in my project proposal also. A guest also came into to give us advices on the information that we shouldn't and should rely on. By Friday I had my rough draft complete
Week Four: This week consisted of going through my rough draft and making corrections and just rereading it before I decide it was good enough to get started on my final draft, this week was also during spring break so I didn't do too much.
Week Five: This week was on finishing final draft and starting to brain storm ideas on what to do for my hands on which I finally decided on after asking some people for their opinion. It also consisted of me finding people to volunteer to let me cut their hair in my final presentation it was kind of hard but showing them my previous work did the trick on convincing them.
Week Six: This week was pretty stress as I didn't have an idea on how to start my actual presentation and what I was gonna say so I ended up asking my capstones teacher the ideas I had in mind and they told me what I could do to make it better. I also purchased my trifold and all the materials needed. Week Seven: I spent this week finishing up my weebly and running my mentors interviews through grammarly to make sure it sounds right when my mentors and teachers go through it. I also finished up my weebly and added the finishing touches to it. Besides that I didn't really do much but finish up my weebly and talk to my mentors in person to get more information so I can get started on my poster.
Week Eight: This week was all about asking teachers for help I explained my ideas on what I was thinking of doing and they gave me advice on what I should do to make it more entertaining and better. I did a quick sketch of how I was planning my layout and I showed it to a couple friends and they gave me the thumbs up. I then got started on my poster and finished it by Sunday I was more than satisfied on how it turned out.
Week Nine: This week me and all my classmates had to present to our class from Monday-Thursday. I went 2nd on Tuesday as you can imagine I was a nervous wreck but thanks to practicing with my friends a couple times and them telling me that it pretty good so that gave me self esteem and calmed my nerves down. On presentation day I was pretty nervous but overall I feel like I did pretty good and my poster was awesome! After my teacher gave me tips on what I could do to improve myself and I've been practicing my presentation getting ready for capstone.
